Each Lunaire candle is hand-poured with intention, using natural soy wax and designed to deliver a slow, luxurious burn—one that transforms your space and honours your rituals.

Whether you're lighting your Forever Jar for the very first time, or enjoying a familiar scent in a quiet moment, a little care helps your candle burn beautifully, every time.

How to Care for Your Candle

Let the wax reach the edges.
On your first burn—and ideally every burn—allow the wax to melt all the way to the rim of the jar. This helps prevent tunnelling and sets the memory of the wax for an even, lasting burn.

Don’t burn for too long.
We recommend burning your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time for optimal performance and to keep your scent throw balanced.

Stop at the base.
Once there's around 10mm of wax remaining, it's time to extinguish your candle and prepare for your next refill.

Always burn on a flat, heat-safe surface.
And as always, never leave a lit candle unattended.

Tunnelling by Design

Our Forever Jars are crafted from aluminium—a material that retains heat beautifully. As your candle burns deeper, the jar warms more evenly from top to base. That means even if you notice a little tunnelling at the start of the burn, the remaining wax will often self-correct and melt fully by the end.

This is part of our intentional design—balancing safe burning with maximum scent payoff.

So don’t worry if the melt pool isn’t perfectly flat every time. As long as you're allowing enough time for the wax to reach the edges on your initial and follow-up burns, your Forever Jar will do the rest.
